Josephine Baker is born in the United States on June 3rd 1906. In 1925, the American dancer is quickly becoming famous in Paris. Her exuberant performances becomes a representation of the "Roaring Twenties", those "roaring twenties" who resemble dancing exuberantly on the volcano before the catastrophe of fascism and war erupts in Europe.
