July 31st 1941 - Göring oders Reinhard Heydrich to plan the final solution ...

 

SS-group leader Reinhard Heydrich was the head of the Security Police and SD, seen here in the middle, during a conversation with Himmler at Hitlers Berghof in Berchtesgaden. On July 31st 1941 Hermann Goering instructs him to prepare the execution of one of the central objectives of the Nazi politics. The extermination of the Jews. " At that time mass executions of Jews already took place in parts of German-occupied Eastern Europe. The more precise formulation of the overall concept took place in January of 1942 during the so-called Wannsee Conference.
